What TidyPapers is

TidyPapers is a set of free browser-based tools for freelancers: an invoice generator, a deposit invoice generator, a change order generator, a kill fee clause generator, a tax dashboard, a self-employment tax calculator, a late payment interest calculator, a payment fees comparison, a billable timer, time converters, a client onboarding kit and step-by-step guides for each of them.

Everything is free to use with no signup. Your documents are created and stored in your own browser and are not uploaded to us (see the privacy page for exactly what is stored where).

Who runs it

Where the numbers come from

Pages whose figures change over time, such as the late fee calculator and the payment fees comparison, show a "checked" date and link to their sources so you can confirm a figure before you rely on it.

TidyPapers gives general information and calculators. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice, so check anything important with a qualified professional in your country.

How the site is paid for

There are no ads and we do not sell your data. If we recommend a product, such as Wise for international payments, we may earn a commission through an affiliate link. That never changes what the tools calculate.
